5 Empowering Statements to Ignite Your Hope

Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful , pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always .

Philippians 4:8, TPT

How is your Hope?

This is a  question that you may not come across, or ask yourself often, but I’d like you to think about it, just for a moment.

When you reflect on your life, right now, are you more hopeful that goodness is your ultimate outcome, or are you more hopeless, or, afraid and timid about the unknown aspects of your future?

I ask the question because it is one that I have trained myself to consider often. What I am really assessing for myself is, am I expecting good in my life, even Continue reading

Before There Was A White House

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

-Jeremiah 29:11

The days we are living in are the type of times where we can easily allow ourselves to be so consumed by things that we have no control over, that we neglect what we do have control over.

So tonight, I am interrupting my scheduled post to sincerely check in with you and ask each of you,

Color Faded – #30Layers30Days

Liberated from the weight of the leaves, the tree, and its branches are free to rest and replenish.  Fall and Winter seasons, though wet, cold, gloomy, and uncomfortable prepare the tree for the vibrancy of new life that is sure to bloom forth in Spring.

The aroma that our thoughts give off impacts others through our words and actions. See,  all thoughts eventually transform into words and/or actions. So every place our voices are heard, we are either stinking up the atmosphere with negativity or releasing a sweet smelling fragrance of hope, faith and strength. Continue reading

Release It!

Regret is looking for you. It wants to suck the life out of your hopes, gimg_6617oals, and dreams for 2018. It wants to remind you of all of the things you set out to do this time last year, but you did not accomplish in 2017. It wants to prove to you that you are not enough, and it wants to convince you that there is no use in even trying because you will end up with the same results.

What I want you to know is that regret is a LIAR. You are enough,  you don’t have to stay chained to  the should-haves, could-haves, and would-haves of your life. Your freedom has already been divinely purchased, and it is God’s will that you walk in your freedom, be released from guilt, shame, and defeat and begin to move forward. Continue reading
